{"id":246,"date":"2018-08-07T10:09:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-07T10:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jazzy.sk\/sv\/blog\/2018\/08\/07\/text\/"},"modified":"2018-08-07T10:09:00","modified_gmt":"2018-08-07T10:09:00","slug":"text","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dhammadipa.cz\/cs\/text\/","title":{"rendered":"Text"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Bhante Dhammadipa shows in this article that\u00a0 in\u00a0 China\u00a0 and\u00a0 other\u00a0 Far\u00a0 East\u00a0 countries,\u00a0 where\u00a0 Chinese\u00a0 Buddhism\u00a0 spread\u00a0 at\u00a0 the\u00a0 early\u00a0 stages\u00a0 of\u00a0 Mah\u0101y\u0101na\u00a0 Buddhism, traditional\u00a0 methods\u00a0 of\u00a0 Buddhist practice,\u00a0 as\u00a0 explained\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 \u0100gamas, were\u00a0 in\u00a0 practice,\u00a0 but\u00a0 reinterpreted\u00a0 from\u00a0 the\u00a0 Mah\u0101y\u0101nistic understanding. Eventually, in the periods following the decline of the Tang Dynasty those practices were mostly abandoned and replaced by pure Mah\u0101y\u0101nistic meditation practices, especially those of the Chan (Zen) and Pure Land schools. It can be clearly seen from the meditation treatises discussed in this article, which are attributed to Kum\u0101raj\u012bva, the most popular translator of Indian Buddhist literature in China.
