Thomas Dhammadipa has founded two centers: Sakarwadi Jetavan in India and Shanta Vana in Czech Republic.
This project is to help the Buddhist community in Sakarwadi, India, with their spiritual practice and also to offer courses, training and other support with the desire to improve the quality of everyday life. Sakarwadi Jetavan is a non-sectarian space where all traditions are welcomed and spiritual practice is guided by Thomas Dhammadipa.
The founding principles were defined by the President of Somaiya Vidyavihar, Shri Samir Somaiya on the inauguration day 7th January, 2016: “We are responding to the twin needs at Sakarwadi – spiritual guidance and economic well-being. Jetavan reflects our commitment at Somaiya Vidyavihar to underscore citizenship and community service, even as we provide avenues for career building to young students.”
